100% in. Public schools usually want good stats, and that’s what you’ve got.
Just wondering… why UMD? Just as a safety? I’d be applying to HYP if I were you.

Of my safety schools, Maryland is my top choice. On the other hand, the rest of my choices are reaches (Columbia’s my number one) so I feel as though it’s probably where I’ll end up.

I really don’t know anything about getting into a public school out of state, almost everyone I know here goes in state unless it’s VT. So, thanks.

In and offered Banneker Key scholarship, either full ride or full tuition and books. You have very similar stats as our son. BTW, he loves UMCP’s Honors Humanities program.

Definetely in…and our DS loves it there too…funny thing is there are several people on this site that are from NC, so you would think there are alot there…that is a fallacy. DS has only met 1 other person from NC.

DS is in the Scholars, Govt program and he loves it also.
