anything else that could help me:
My dad is Puerto Rican, so I can put hispanic down on my forms. But I’m not bilingual and it’s not like I have dual citizenship anywhere so I’m not sure if this matters.

Post this in the chances forum, you’ll get more responses

I have slightly similar stats and applied ED. I’ll let you know how it turns out in a few weeks. Good luck!

sry im just wondering
since u’ve take both
do u feel IB is harder than AP?

hmm. You got an IB score of 2? Are you sure? Cause doesn’t that mean you failed the course?

AND MATH STUDIES REPRESENT. You have no idea the flack I get for taking math studies.

angelath- Personally, I feel IB is wayyyyy easier than AP. But it may just be because there is much more writing versus multiple choice in IB. And I can BS like a fool.

adeleZ- um no. I mean it’s the second level of the course. As in I took the IB Math studies and psych “1” my junior year. Yeah I took studies mainly cause our calc teacher is like… unstable. Studies is awesome!

bump.

I’m sorry but I’m freaking out now that everything is submitted. Does anyone else have any comments? Please!? I’d just like to prepare myself, good or bad.

lazydaisy: just breathe, okay? Nobody here can realistically tell you one way or another. I think you look like a good candidate for admission, but all I am is a mom of a Barnard grad. I CAN absolutely identify with your anxiety, though, and sympathize. I know when my daughter was going through this time 5 years ago, it was sheer torture for both of us. She wanted it so badly.

thing is, I know she would have had an amazing college experience no matter where she had gone. And I am sure you will as well. My best advice is to focus on great things going on in your life right now…enjoy these last few months of HS and of being with your family. Admissions decisions will roll around and you will know at last! And nobody here can really tell you one way or another what the outcome will be. Hang in there!!!
