Chances, please?

Heyya! I'm focusing mainly on top tier schools/ivy leagues - my dream is to do Biomedical Engineering at Columbia SEAS (which I plan to apply to ED), so if you could comment on that in particular, it would be much appreciated.

(I'm a rising junior, by the way - this is mainly for me to take into consideration what you guys say, so that I can improve my chances!)

I am taking the most rigorous curriculum that my school offers - in fact, I tested into a highly selective, accelerated course of study. I also plan to continue everything listed above. :)

I will also be conducting my own independent research project this school year, in either the engineering or medical fields.

Any thoughts or suggestions would definitely help!

First of all, you need to take your SAT’s and i’m sure you’ll do good on those. And, your gpa is great. I would suggest getting some more leadership. Also, your list is kind of a laundry list, im not finding a passion up there^. I strongly recommend staying with tennis because playing a sport shows dedication and work ethic. And try to connect with a couple of teachers this year so you can get stellar recommondations from them next year. Also, on applications theres a spot for hrs/per week and weeks/per year for your EC’s. So is there something up there that consumes a major amount of your time… Also, enjoy your junior year. It only comes around once.
