chances pleasee :]

Villanova is my top choice but I'm not sure if it's too much of a reach or not...

gpa unweighted 3.5
gpa weighted 3.7 (92.5)
class rank- 28 out of 176 (just outside of top 15%)

test scores:
SAT 1980 (I've only taken once)
verbal- 680
writing- 740
math- 560 (I know this is bad but I've been studying and I'm sure I can get it above 600. My goal is about 620)

ACT- 30 (only taken once and I think that when I take I again I can raise it to at least a 31)

My school is small but has pretty good academics even though it only offers about 6 AP classes, of which I have taken 3. It also doesn't offer many honors classes but I'm taking 2 this year. My schedule is considered pretty challenging at my school and a lot of kids that are ranked above me haven't taken the AP or honors classes that I have.

I'm not sure of the exact number but I have around 200 hours of community service and this past summer I worked about 20-25 hours a week.

I have decent ECs (4 years of varsity cheerleading and we are the conference champions, yearbook editor, 4 years of student council, a couple years of French club, and NHS)

Also, I'm taking a couple of classes that are affiliated with the University of Connecticut which means that at the end of the year I will have credits for a history class and an english class at UCONN along with some AP credits.

I have a pretty good essay going and I know that my recommendation will be glowing.

Please help me out! Any advice would be so great :]

Based on stats alone(and a better math SAT),you’d meet the criteria of acceptance…That said, demographics will play a role also…Most schools won’t take many applicants from the same school/area,so if your school is a very well regarded, you might have competetion from others,

Nova is a great school, best of luck!!!

thank you!

i think you’ll be fine but you’ll never know.good luck
