<p>i'm a white girl from long island like almost everyone else applying to this school. going to be a senior. want to apply early decision.</p>

<p>GPA: unweighted about 3.8, weighted about 4.19
99% in a class of over 750</p>

<p>ANYWAY, i know i need more community service but what can i say im a selfish girl? do you guys think i have a decent shot? im going ot visit in september and get an interview, tour, and stay with a friend.</p>

<p>I think you have an excellent chance. When applying to Wash U try to accentuate one or two of your strengths such as badminton and soccer. Is there something else other than sports that can capture Wash U's attention? Possibly art or juggling? Juggling is unusual and I think that Wash U looks at the unusual. How about the zen (psychology) of juggling?</p>

<p>haha no .. ap studio art. i spent hours i could have been sleeping on that stupid portfolio... then again maybe the fact that my work was done at 2am could be that reason for that 2... haha.</p>
