Teachers - One good from Eng more about personality (not the highest eng grade in class unfortunately, running a high B+/low A- = considered one of our school's toughest classes). One likely awesome rec from AP Chem teacher talking about chem stuff I do.
Supplemental - Possibly JSA advisor (who is very fond of me). Definitely prof from Rutgers who was my research mentor.

Rutgers (Safety I believe...with full tuition/room/board as well)

Thanks for Reading!

I think you have a great shot at UPenn ED.

Wow. All these posts of future Ivy league attendees make me feel like I'm hopeless.

And here I was thinking I didn't stand a chance after reading through some Ivy result threads. Well, these comments are reassuring, so thank you. And, I'm sure you'll end up in a great college (maybe an Ivy, don't give up!) runtime. I myself am not stressing about this tooooo much. I would be happy to pay nothing to attend Rutgers!

Somewhat EC/Award-Weak

Fake modesty ftl?

It's not fake modesty, I am sincerely insecure about my resume. I don't have any super awards like USA olympiads nor do I have a varsity sport/play an instrument very well. So, I'm a bit concerned as to how colleges will view that. I'm hoping that as long as I demonstrate my passion for science, medicine, and politics (and tie them together somehow), I won't have much of a problem. But, thank you for your reply.

okay bump...serious responses please!

Penn(ED) -in.

thx .

YOU HAVE NO SHOT AT ANY OF THOSE SCHOOLS- YOUR ECS ARE WEAK AND YOUR SCHOOLS WILL HATE YOUR variety of things

basically you're a weak applicant

dude thats crazy, u make me feel worthless lol....why are people becoming so increasingly competitive, i mean the undergrad college u go to really doesnt determine your fate, success, or the job u land in....its more about connections, being at the right place right time, good impression in interview, and decent college grades etc.

yes, you are definitely an EC/Award-weak applicant. and while you're at it, maybe you should retake taht SAT. a 2340 is abysmal. that 740 will get you rejected at Rutgers, and needless to say every other school on your list.

You have good chances :) I'd say they're matches for you... except Rutgers which is a safety. And this is me being pessimistic.

Easily gets into UMich, Rutgers, NYU. 70% chance gets into Cornell, 60% will get into Duke. UPENN (ED)? - About 45%? JHU about 50%

These are just rough estimates based on nothing but my intuition.

I agree with the serious answers above. You have a good chance at the schools on your list, but as you probably know, the Ivies and similar schools are a reach for everybody.

And folks, honestly, highly-qualified students like this REALLY ARE insecure about their qualifications. They aren't just bragging. Cut them a break.

I have to admit that the science/tennis/piano combination shows up a lot on these chance threads. I was thinking that perhaps you could emphasize the politics/oratory activities and Latin and maybe not even mention piano and tennis. My D's friends got accepted this year to good schools without any sports activities so I don't really think sports is that important since you can demonstrate teamwork and leadership with your other activites. I think your main emphasis in your essays should be on your research activities since you seem very passionate and excited about that. You also seem to have a good list of schools. I would like to hear what other people think about what you should emphasize or not emphasize so you can stand out. Good luck!

I don't think an applicant should ever decline to mention an activity that he spends significant time doing, unless it's something negative (i.e., playing video games). So I'd mention the tennis, but I agree that the emphasis should be on things where you've shown achievement and leadership.

Thank you all for the feedback! No, I'm not trying to brag...I sincerely feel like I won't be able to beat out some of the other top kids at my school. I'm not a flawless candidate either (e.g. GPA). But, I'm glad to see that people think I have a good chance and I appreciate all the comments.

Nice! Your stats is too good among many high school students. If your info is true, just wait for acceptance letters! I bet you will get least 1 of your top choices!
