First off, great job on the SAT! You did really good. But I hope you know you have to take the SAT subject tests too. It depend on which school you apply to but you have to take two of them. Also you EC’s are really good. Your gpa though is on the low side for weighted. I’m not positive but I think BU takes your unweighted gpa, so that could possible be your downfall. I think if you work hard and take the SAT again and do really well on the subject tests you’ll make it. And BU has the whole CGS thing which helps students who didn’t get into the school of their choice go to the CGS for one year then reapply or something of that sort to the school they want after a year.
But good luck to you! I’m applying to BU as well.

Just to clarify, CGS is a two year, core curriculum program. You must complete the full two years to transfer to another school at BU, you cannot transfer after one year. It is a great program, and students are well prepared to move into their college of choice their third year. My daughter has several friends in CGS who are having a wonderful experience. The only negative she has heard is the workload is quite heavy, but I am sure that perception would be based on your high school experience. My daughter finds her college workload quite manageable compared high school. Good luck to you!
