<p>Hey, I would really appreciate it if you could chance me and give me some suggestion of safeties for me. Here it is:
Background: Male, originally from Israel, will be applying as an international.</p>
<p>HS: Ranked in the top 50 public schools, sends a lot of grads to selective schools.
GPA: 3.5 (dropped a little by my senior year), WGPA 4.1
SAT II: Chemistry 770, Hebrew 800.
ACTS: First time: 24 (English 27, Math 28, Science 23, Reading 16, and Essay 10)
APs: Chemistry 5, Environmental Science 4, English 2
Skipped a level of French, and did a chemistry Internship my senior year, as well as a lot of science courses.
ECs: Red Cross Club, French Honor Society, International Night Committee, Science Scholars Member, Israeli Scouts counselor ( 3 years, held highest position possible), Chemistry club, and American Red Cross, School's Health Organization.
Recieved awards for community service (over 260 hours), Leadership in community award, and certificate of excellence in my global science program.</p>
<p>College:
Currently attending Montgomery College in MD (pretty good reputation).
First semester GPA 3.67
First Semester courses: Calc I (A), English I (A), Intro to Psychology (A), Organic Chemistry (B).
Second Semester courses: Calc II, American Lit, French II, Orgo II.
ACT (retook):29 (Engilsh 28, Math 31, Science 29, Reading 27, and Essay 8)
ECs: Turtoring and Teaching kids Hebrew (both as a job, and community service). Member of school's Student Senate Forum, Travel Club, and Multicultural Club.
Considering either chemistry or neuroscience/neurobiology as a major.
Great recs from psychology prof (also teaches grad school in JHU).</p>
<p>Here are the schools I'm applying to (by order of choices): Georgetown, Columbia, UPenn, JHU, American and UMD (parents make me).
I feel like I need one more safety. I'm looking for medium schools in the NE that are near major cities that have my major(s).</p>
