dude... ur a sophmore... i think thats all im going to say.

^not really, there are sophomores who are preparing that early, and IMO, if it doesn't hurt them in any way, sphomores are smart to start early.

back to the original poster, your EC's are not much stand outs. All that seems pretty decent, is your Art Club that YOU oragnized. I suggest cutting out all the freshman-year-only clubs, since they don't count at all. Also, keep in mind that many colleges look for a 3-year commitment, from at least 10th to 12th. (With exception of only junior or only senior clubs).

Interesting Tami. You didn't tell me it was good to be on here as a sophomore. You told me I should get a life basically and that I wasn't going to a good college because there are loads of freshman in AP classes.

tami, i think my ECs are enough. i'm easily the most active student in my grade. and will most likely get better. i am guaranteed, more or less, at least 4-5 presidential/vice presidential positions in the next 2 years. i'm also most likely getting research recognition at the "big" national American Association for the Advancement of Science convetntion for the research paper i'll be publishing. additionallly, i'll be going to a model UN conference overseas, and since i'm a great debater, i'll be up for international acheivement.

the thing i'm worried about is my grades. i have 2 Bs as final grades, albeit high. and i'm worried that that'll be the thing that kills me.

Interesting Tami. You didn't tell me it was good to be on here as a sophomore. You told me I should get a life basically and that I wasn't going to a good college because there are loads of freshman in AP classes.

When did I tell you it wasn't good to be on here as a sophomore? And I never told you to get a life. And I never said you WEREN'T going to a good college, I just said that you have to take into consideration the competition you're up against. Or did you miss THAT point as well, as you did with all my other posts?

I never realized how dense a person could be, until now. Maybe you should get your facts straight before posting some BS about a post you don't understand.

And evilolive, that's great that you think your EC's are great. I was telling you my opinion, from what I've seen. The point I was making is that you didn't have a three-year commitment, since you posted (freshman yr) and I believed you were referring to only being a member for 1 year, which as a matter of fact, really DOES NOT MATTER much to colleges. Also, did you post any of that in your original post? NO. So there was no way I could have know your "most likely" awards, now is there?

tami...you seem tense. chill down.

riiiigghhht. whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think Tami is getting a bit offended.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I don't care.

Lol..seriously...everyone just chill.

But I think she's mad because you made up stuff she never said, Texas.

I wasn't quoting her exactly, sorry if I exaggerated. Hear that, I'm sorry Tami. I'm honestly sorry and I want to make ammends. Besides I think you're cool now since I saw the way you handled eliteprincess.
