Hi guys,
I just finished junior year and wanted help deciding what colleges I should I apply to. I basically want a list of what my likely, reach, and high reach schools are. Stats:
Unweighted GPA: 3.85
Weighted GPA: 4.3
ACT: 30 (will be taking two more times during senior year…almost confident I’ll get 32-33 since I only took it once)
Took SAT 2 Biology E, Math 2, and US history
1 AP sophomore, 3 junior, will take 4 senior yr.
Ethnicity: Indian
Essays will be good as I’ve already came up with ideas.
EC: 100 hours volunteer work, volleyball varsity (3 years total), track + cross country 1 year, Cal State Long Beach Hackathon Arduino build competition winner, put together multiple PC’s, own resume website, some freelance website work, drone building, Staples EasyTech associate (repairing computers), know many programming languages
- Technology Tutors treasurer 3 years, Think global manager 3 years, international review secretary 2 years, Outdoor Exploration 1 year (hiking, mt. biking, snowboarding), +some other BS clubs I probably won’t mention
In-state California but can afford OOS. I don’t really want advice on financial concerns. Just basically chances and If i should omit the high reach or just apply for the heck of it. And also if you have suggestions for other good engineering schools that would be a good fit for me regarding chances.
