Chances to transfer to CSOM from OOS

I’m currently a student at a community college in Ann Arbor, Michigan. By the time I apply, I will have 55+ credits. I’ve heard that the UM has recently closed down admissions to OOS students, is this true? Do I have any chance of getting into the CSOM?

CC GPA: 3.72
Intended major: Management Information Systems
Hooks: First generation college student
ECs: Developed a database using SQL, built a mobile app for a local charity, Key/Kiwanis Club member

Applications for transfer students are open until March 1st. It doesn’t matter if they are IS or OOS, and where on earth did you hear that bogus information??

If you’ll only have 55 credits, you’ll need to include your ACT/SAT scores with your application. Absent those scores, I couldn’t give a fair assessment. Good luck!
