Decent scores and ECs. Pretty good chances for all UCs except LA and Berkeley. You might have a shot at LA, Michigan and NYU with your scores, but Berkeley seems like a Reach. You should probably provide more information for us to chance you properly though.
what specific information should i provide?
What college are you applying to for the UC’s, it actually makes a big difference.
UMich for international is really hard to get in. UCLA, UCB are hard as well. If you can pay (which I’m assuming you can) then NYU is a good place to apply ED as they favor people who can pay.
But unfortunately the UC GPA of 3.9 is not very competitive for UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. You need around a 4.2 UC generally speaking for UCB and UCLA and a 4.1~ for UCSD.
What’s your unweighted GPA (or how many B’s did you get in high school?) It will be easier to chance you for schools like NYU where UC GPA doesn’t matter in terms of admissions.
Until 10th grade I was in an American international school so I got as a final grade
AAAAAABB
In 11th grade I moved to a British system school scaling out of 7(A+) . I got
7 6 6 6 6 5 in which 3 are Higher level classes (Honor classes)
So you have 6 B’s for 9th and 10th and 1? B 11th grade?
I was accepted to NYU, UMich, and UCLA this past spring with a 30 on the ACT and a weighted GPA of a 3.97. I was however, rejected from UC Berkeley. I hope this can help you to compare.
SAT 2110 is slightly below the admission average at UMich (mid 50 2040-2260 for 2014). If your UC GPA is 3.9, your uwGPA is likely also below the admission average of 3.85 at UMich too. It would be low reach to reach for you if from oos.
I would recommend trying more for lower UCs, and having Mich, LA, Berkeley as your Reaches.
