Chances to Wharton ED from Australia

<p>Hey, im looking at applying to wharton as and ED also harvard and u mich ross and maybe nyu stern and mit
Race: Indian
Country: Australia
School: Private (Highly Academic, a few people have gone to ivies on scholarships but hardly anyone applies)
SAT I: 2250, i'm trying again and hoping for 2300+
SAT II: Latin, 760 and Maths II: 800
Rank (no GPA): 50-60/185 - It must seem very bad but would put me in the top 2% of the state
My ATAR (year 12 exam) prediction is around 98-99, so top 2 and 1% of the state respectively</p>

<p>ECs (The number of years is the number it will be at november 2012)</p>

<p>Not sure if this counts but I've elected to do Latin at my school (5 Years)
Also Sanskrit for 2 years (only offered for 2)
Latin Reading Competition at the university of sydney twice, Commended and Highly Commended
Fluent in Hindi
Rowing - 3 Summer Seasons - 2 Winter Seasons - 2nd PLace at the New South Wales Head of the River (New South Wales is my state)
Library Monitor - 5 years
Rugby Union - 2 Seasons
Cross Country - 2 Seasons (sum 80 min over 14km at the City to Surf, involving large hills)
Violin - 7 years
Flute - 4 Years
Numerous Orchestras - around 2-3 years
Duke of Edinburgh, Bronze and Silver Award - Basically requires you to do sport, music, volunteer and 2 overnight hikes the bronze takes 6months, silver 9months and gold (not completed) 1 year
40 Hour Famine - 3 times - Raised thousands
-Spoken Latin Club - Co founded in yr 10 - Involves the tutoring of children in year 7/8
-Philosophy Club - Will represent school in a competition but no idea how i will perform
-Latin Summer School - week long optional session at the university of sydney (best in aus) which involves revisiting of grammar, readings of roman poets etc
-First Aid Certificate (Can give CPR, know first aid)
-Army Cadet Corps (2 years) - similar to boy scouts but more like the army, involves 2 camps a year and i could talk about how i showed leadership</p>

<p>Academically, I’d say you’re good. As for out of school activities, you also seem to have to great stuff but when you’re applying to Penn you might want to pick some of the most impressive ones and emphasize them because they’d much rather see you follow through extensively and have had excellent results with a couple of activities than seeing someone branch out into 20 different things in a shallow way. You are an international applicant however, so I’m not exactly sure if that will favor you during admissions, but you’ve got an all right shot, given the lack of demonstrated passion in business which while not at all necessary, has to help.</p>
