<p>Your application is first considered for the joint degree program. Then, if it is not accepted, it goes to the individual school you selected. You are not admitted to individual schools first. </p>
<p>And as mattwonder said, it is entirely possible that you can be a good fit for a particular program like LSM but NOT a good fit for Wharton or the College individually.</p>

<p>I agree with LadyinRed's earlier comments on your situation. As a student at Wharton I can tell you that I know plenty of people with 550-700 math SATs that have gotten in and have been able to succeed.</p>
