I'm currently a junior at the 3rd best highschool in Western New York; it's a small, Catholic, all girls highschool. I transferred at the start of my sophmore year from the number 1 highschool in Western New York, also small, Catholic and all girls. I have rather unimpressive statistics compared to those posted on this forum, but Wellesley is my number one choice and I am definately going to apply ED.

I love Wellesley College, it really is my dream to attend college there. I know I don't have stellar grades; however, this year I was diagnosed with a learning disability in math (yes that is an actual learning disability), and also, Attention Deficit Disorder. Because these problems went undiagnosed for so long, my grades suffered. Now I am recieving treatment and fully expect a drastic improvement in my grades. Will colleges judge me differently because i have a learning disablility? Will they think that I am less capable because of it? Should I even submit a letter of explanation about my grades, or will it hurt my chances even more if a college admissions officer knows that I have a problem? Without amazing grades or national recognition, do I stand a chance at admittance into Wellesley? Also, if my statistics don't match those of a Wellesely student, what are some other colleges I should look into? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
