Chances, URM, High GPA/LSAT

<p>Hello, here are my specs: </p>

<p>Academics/Objective:
Classics major, English minor
GPA: 3.85
LSAT: 171
Hispanic </p>

<p>Honors Program
Phi Beta Kappa</p>

<p>Essays - tend to be an excellent writer
Letters of rec - should be excellent, very good relationships with three professors</p>

<p>Outside the Classroom:
Scholarship student - full ride to a top 30 university, highly select group
Honors program
Editor-in-Chief and writer of a monthly magazine, well-read on campus
Member, club one
Member, club two
Co-President and Co-founder, club three </p>

<p>Summers:
1 - Assistant Director, camp in PA (directed activities, 100+ campers)
2 - Volunteered in Bronx, NY, mentoring teens one-on-one and in groups
3 - Volunteered in Chicago, IL, mentoring teens one-on-one </p>

<p>What would my chances be at the following:
- Harvard Law
- UChicago Law
- NYU Law
- UNC Law
- UVA Law
- Duke Law
- Columbia Law</p>

<p>In everywhere except for Harvard, which is a toss-up. </p>

<p>Is UNC for scholarship leverage?</p>

<p>In today’s app pool, Harvard is a lock too. Blanket the T10 (or 14) and wait for the money to roll in.</p>

<p>What kind of “URM” are you? If you’re an AA male, you’re in everywhere listed.</p>

<p>OP stated they were Hispanic. I have heard that not all Hispanic are considered URM, but I could be wrong. Also are you male or female?</p>
