<p>hmmm thanks ALOT for all of the comments...i hope im looking at the right schools. </p>

<p>I run the 100m and 200m and this year (junior) ill be picking up on a relay team. I run the 100m in 11.5 and the 200m in about 24.4. my 200m is bad haha :-/</p>

<p>Its possible that ecs can make up low gpas. It depends on the school of course. Emory is pretty big on ecs so if you have strong ecs then it could possibly make up for like a 3.4 uw. Of course other things like applying ed can only help you as well.</p>

<p>well my gpa is 3.8uw...and my ECs aren't spectacular...</p>

<p>Your gpa is awsome so you're fine there. Not having many ECs may hurt you at Emory because thats one school where they really like to see more than just amazing grades and good test scores.</p>

<p>yeah...story of my life. How about Tulane? I really like Tulane, that's my number 1 choice right now...also miami and boston...:-/</p>

<p>I agree with Mystic, Emory might be tough because it takes something special to get in there. </p>

<p>With a 1400 or a 30 + your gpa, I think you're a lock at Tulane. It's a really good, fun school and one of my top choices also.</p>
