Asian's aren't minorities. They aren't underrepresented. If anything, it will hurt that 70%.

Asians are underrepresented minorities at some rare colleges. Those colleges include University of Wisconsin.

At most top universities, however, Asians are overrepresented compared to their proportion of the US population.

Thanks for all your comments. Northstar, the size of the campus isn't very important to me, neither is the sports factor. Oberlin is on the list because i am considering liberal arts colleges as well as universities because I want to eventually go into law and I can do that both ways. It seems to me that UMich will be much harder for me to get into because many people from my school apply there but only about 10 kids a year apply to Wisconsin and about 9 of them get in. I will complete my application to Wisconsin this week and send it out for rolling addmissions. Thanks again.

Haha, so stupid, how are Asians not a minority. Asian does not equal white, so automatically asians are minority. Yes their population in rising, but at Wisconsin, there are almost 1500 asian students out of over 41,000 students. Underrepresented, i think so. All together, minorities only represnt about 5%-7% of the school population. So really what i want to say is that your an idiot.

Oh and Duke, are you saying that i live on wisconsin or who? because of your talking about me, your are very very wrong

I got into UW-Madison with a 3.4 GPA from high school and a 1340. I'm just a good writer with great recommendations, so focus on that at this point....

Don't insult me. I am nowhere near an idiot, nor am I stupid.

Asians aren't URM's. It's a fact. That's what I said. You won't find Asians getting extra consideration because of their minority status, like Native Americans, Indians, African Americans, etc. They aren't discriminated against like these groups.
