I am [1 of 325] in poverty-stricken, South Carolina public school. 4.0 GPA unweighted on 4.0 scale. 5.229 GPA on 4.0 scale. AP's: 5 on Human Geo, 4 on Bio, 4 on US History. Current AP's: Eng Lit, Physics B, Calc AB, Microecon. Good extracurriculars: National Spanish Bronze, National Youth Sodexo Grant winner (started my own non-profit org.), Optimist Golf State Champion, etc.

I have ok SAT scores but not good enough for Ivies: 680 Math, 640 CR, 720 Writing. I plan to take my subject tests Nov. 3.

My dilemma...I was going to apply Early Action to Yale but was drawn back after seeing my SAT score today. Should I apply early with my current SAT, increasing my chance of acceptance but risking rejection? Or should I wait and apply regular decision, hypothetically saying I will score a 34 on ACT?

I appreciate the help!
