Chances with Early Decision?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I am completely interested in SUNY Geneseo, and i'm a little anxious to know where I stand with my application.</p>

<p>I have a medical history which left my grades in freshmen and sophomore years at an 84. Once treated my junior year was a 91. My 3 year average is 86.2, and my SAT score is an 1230/1820. I am taking the SAT on Saturday, and am confident I will get the SAT score to at least a 1300/1890.</p>

<p>I do a lot of volunteer work both in and out of school. I am on the volleyball team and did Cross Country. I have 2 cousins currently enrolled.</p>

<p>How do I look?</p>

<p>Even with a 1300, you’d still be near the bottom 25% of the class.
A little eh, maybe a spring admit.</p>

<p>I don’t think you have a very good chance given your GPA & below average (compared to last year’s freshman class) SAT score. However Geneseo has been going to Spring admit more & more.</p>
