Chances with Georgia Southern with my ACT Score

Hi guys,

So I’ve applied to Georgia Southern for the spring and I’ve taken the ACT for the third time this month but to my surprise I didn’t improve.
My highest ACT score was a 19 with a 7 in writing and I was hoping to score higher than that since Georgia Southern’s minimum requirement is a 21.
What are my chances of get accepted to Georgia Southern? I did really well in high school with a GPA of 3.8 but I’m bad with standardized tests due to time management.

I know there’s less competition for the Spring Semester so that could help but I’m not entirely sure. My aunt is also a Georgia Southern graduate, so would that also help to?
Either way, I’ve applied already so I should just be ready for a rejection letter or an acceptance letter.

Thanks guys!

Hi I am currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University and yes the minimum score is a 21 to be accepted. You can get into the EIP Program by scoring a 20 ACT Composite Score. That is just when you go the summer before your fall semester and take classes and have to earn a c or better in all of them, and when you complete the classes you will be accepted to fall semester with no questions asked. Even though I am an Engineering major I thought I was going to have to do the EIP program cause I did bad on the SAT but then I stopped BS’ing around and really studied and took the ACT and earned a 28 and was accepted to the fall. If you buckle down and really study for your ACT you can earn a 20 or 21 you just have to apply yourself and study your ACT Book.
