<p>i am a sophomore at one of the top all- girls' private schools. i was recently suspended (2 days in- school) for violation of the computer acceptable use policy. i have never received any severe disciplinary action before. i was wondering what my chances would be of getting into one of the more competitive ivies with this on my record.</p>

<p>i am taking the most challenging courses my school has to offer. i know my grades this year are not outstanding, but i can definitely step it up this semester.</p>
<p>ECs 9th: violin (won/placed in many tri-state level competitions, leader of violin ensemble, good chair in orchestra, top 5 all state orchestra, 14+ hrs a week, etc), f/s field hockey, f/s lacrosse, writer school newspaper, staff yearbook, community service 80+ hours (soup kitchen, nursing home), teach violin in summer... CLUBS future business leaders of america, cooking club, ambassador's club, </p>
<p>10th: violin (see above, 1st violinist in chamber group), JV field hockey, writer school newspaper, editor yearbook, tutoring inner city school girl (communtiy service)... CLUBS fbla, cooking, ambassador's, french, selected to participate in leadership conference</p>
<p>in the summers i attend a music camp for a month (4+ hrs of daily practice, chamber music, master classes, concerts, etc), and i also do a lot of community service.</p>
<p>my school is also very competitive in sports (esp. field hockey and lacrosse). rarely does anyone make varsity until junior/ senior year</p>
<p>i was also wondering how serious is it being suspended for 2 days for violating the computer AUP in comparison to suspension for drinking?</p>
