Chances? :]

Heck why not lets see what you all have to say :]

What do you all think about my chances?

And what do you think about my chances for honors?

You’re auto-accepted. You’re probably even likely to be accepted to the honors college.

Definitely an auto-admit to UO, but I think the honors college might be a stretch. Worth applying though if you’re interested. Your ACT is low for the honors college, but with a great essay, strong letters of rec… it’s possible, I suppose. Hard to predict.

If you’re interested in the honors college but are not admitted, you can enter UO as a freshman and do very well the first year, and then apply to the honors college as a sophomore.

Yeah, they do not say anything on the website about letters of rec. but they will read them! So send one or two with your transcripts. Best of luck

The UO honors college application requires letters of rec.

Thank you all for your feedback. I just opted out of applying to honors. Like 'rentof2 said if I really want to try for honors I can just do so after my freshman year :]

Good luck, purpleagirl, with all your applications. I’m sure you’re going to have some very nice options to choose from come this spring!

Does Oregon use weighted GPA for their auto admissions? So if I have a 3.7 weighted, I will be auto-admitted?

Yes on the auto admit if it is for this year’s application (Fall 2011 start).
