<p>Captain of Speech and debate team, wrote about this in essay, explained didnt have time for anything else. Also explained how im going to join the Binghamton Debate team upon acceptance, and have talked to the coach.</p>

<p>Political science/IR is Harpur’s college. I do have a friend who is trying to apply there with similar stats. You are quite on the borderline with the numbers, but with a killer-essay, you have a fair chance.</p>

<p>I have similar stats to yours except I applied with a 1340/1600 SAT. I had similar EC’s and I applied to harpur, and I was deferred. It’s definitely worth a shot and I would say you have a good chance.</p>
