...chances?!

<p>i'm a junior at a private school in vermont
4.27 unweight GPA, 5.17 weighted
have taken all the honors and AP classes available to me
rank: 1/166
SATs: 640 math (i know it's terrible; i'm re-taking it soon), 720 critical reading, 760 writing (8 on the essay)
Subject Tests: 690 chemistry and am taking english literature, biology, and spanish at the end of the year</p>

<p>extracurriculars + volunteer/work experience:
varsity cross country running
varsity tennis
summer tennis team
taught a tennis camp
tennis club
spanish club
scholars' bowl
volunteer at the local forest and farmland center
shadow the local veterinarian
math tutor
school paper
member of a service group that raises thousands of dollars annually to "eradicate malaria" in sierra leone
founder and leader of two service groups, both concerned with africa (one helps lions, the other raises money for school supplies for two schools in northern kenya)
went to tufts adventures in veterinary medicine last summer (two-week program)
am going to africa this summer for a month, after which i will receive a certificate for 80-100 hours of community service
member of a service group that raises money for disadvantaged people in our community
member of the town government's tree committee
runner-up in the UVM essay contest
english "achievement" award freshman and sophomore year (i don't know if this matters, but i figured i'd write it anyway)
have worked since freshman year as a dish-washer and now as a sales associate</p>

i know that there's really no way to tell when it comes to stanford and it's a crapshoot for everyone, but i was just wondering if i should even bother applying
