ECs mostly include several jobs and internships I've had but not too much in terms of athletics. I think my essay was pretty good and my English teacher gave me an outstanding recommendation

I feel pretty confident about getting into UMass however I'm not quite sure about the honors college. I slacked off a bit during my senior year (Mostly B's with a few A's and C's on my transcript) but since I'm taking 5 AP's my weighted GPA hasn't fallen. Compared to my previous three years it's a decrease in performance, but maybe my heavy course load will make up for that? I know that the honors college acceptance letters were sent out recently and I haven't received anything yet, but do I still have a chance of getting into the honors college?

From the ComCol requirements listed on the web site:

• combined (critical reasoning & math) SAT-I scores above 1300,
• a weighted high school GPA of “A-” or higher, and
• a high school class rank in the top 10 percent,

you meet/exceed the requirements.

So chances are pretty good, I think.
