chance me for rice? I copied my resume, and edited some personal info, might have some extraneous info..sorry about that

Your stats are good and put you in range to get in. Ensure that the remainder of your application (recommendation letters and essays) are strong as well to maximize your chances.

Good Luck!

haha the thing that stands out the most about your EC is your being on the wrestling team. It’s interesting because the rest of your application (sort of) portrays you as a book nerd. haha kidding.

your stats put you in range. No guarantees obviously with admissions being fickle, but you stand a good chance in my opinion.

hmm thanks guys
are my ECs really weak? i know they aren’t superb, but are they a weakness for me?

and yes, jamieee, wrestling was ridiculous haha… did it with a bunch of friends who wrestled, craziest physical conditioning ever lol

I was in a similar boat as you last year, in that I was intensely worried about my ECs being too weak, etc. Trust me, at this point it does not matter. If your ECs are indeed weak, there’s nothing you can do about it now, and as long as you are involved and doing what you love we cannot tell you your ECs are weak. ECs are a subjective thing, meaning that one year a person passionate about baseball might get in and the next year the same kid would not have gotten in because Rice was not looking for a baseball player that year.

Anyway, your stats are there, now don’t stress about a weakness or whatever and just work to make your essays as strong as possible, and make sure your application portrays you. Good luck!
