I'm about to enter my senior year of high school. I took my first SAT in June and got a 1590(1050 composite). I know this is not enough to get automatically accepted but I was wondering if I still have a chance. My GPA (unweighted) is about a 3.4ish (which should place me around the top 45% of my class). I have taken all Pre-AP/Honers English classes and plan to take Dual Credit English IV and will be taking all AP classes (6 classes per semester) this upcoming year. I also previously took APUS History last year and took the AP test. I also took the COMPASS test and scored very high on the math portion. I have yet to take my ACT.

My main downfall is that I have NO outside activities. I am not in any sport, not in band, and not in any sort of club. I was hoping to find a job this summer and work part-time throughout the year but unfortunately (even after applying to about 10+ various places) nobody will call me back. I don't know why (seeing as how I know plenty of people who applied at the EXACT moment I sent in my application and they got jobs yet I didn't) but there you go.

If it helps I plan on applying for a Software Engineering degree (although I'm pretty sure this doesn't change much since all requirements are the same for each program the school offers). Also I'm both hispanic and middle-eastern, raised by a single mother, and I have speech impediment.
