I would really appreciate your feedback!

You’re probably a match.

Don’t screw up Junior Year and you’re in.

It depends on your standardized tests. If you can score over a 2100/32 on the SAT/ACT, then I would say a match. If your scores are significantly lower, a slight reach.

keep up your grades, take act, and let’s talk next year.

^lol

And Alexandre is right.

Let me say this. It’s funny how CC’rs in general think Michigan is this incredibly hard university to get into. It’s not. They have a 50% acceptance rate, and it’s public. The numbers don’t lie (even those this school is hit or miss for everyone). This school isn’t geared as much toward your average CC’r.

Too many CC’rs only get grades, and are only MEMBERS of what they do. A member can be signing up, being on the roster, and doing very little/nothing. A member means absolutely nothing. Zip. Nada. Nero. Null.I would say invalid, but that’s just awkward. Who cares if you’re a member? That means you’re a follower, not a leader. “John is a member of the Key Club”. How could that possibly help ANY college make a decision whether to admit you or not? Michigan doesn’t care about the length of your resume, they want quality.

CC is awesome for things like Ivy admissions, but I don’t know if it’s so great for Michigan admissions. Michigan doesn’t only want high school grades. High school is a joke compared to college (most high schools). Getting the A’s is TOO easy. Of course they want a good GPA. They want a great ACT, especially for in-staters! They want leadership in 2+ varsity sports. They want musical involvement. Michigan wants to make a good product, which is the making of leaders. Ask yourself how different your app is from everyone elses.

So remember man!

 1. Being a member is signing up. Being a leader is being a bad ass!
 2. Keep up your GPA, but really kill the ACT because your OOS
 3. Work hard in music. Michigan loves that! I’m a trumpet player and piano player, I love music! GO MUSIC!
 4. Be chill.

You sound like a really cool person. Just keep in mind that CC is AWESOME for Ivy and other high rated public ivys, but I really don’t think it’s geared for the Michigan way. Keep destroying man, and good luck!
