• SAT I (breakdown): 2140 (760 CR, 770 M, 610 W) [retaking in october for higher writing]
• SAT II: Math II (740), US History (790)
• Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.8
• AP/ College Classes: AP US (5), AP Euro (5), AP Macro (5), AP language (5), AP US Gov (3)
• Senior Year Course Load: Engineering honors, AP Psych, AP English Lit, AP Calc AB, AP AP Physics B, AP Micro, Debate IV honors
• Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Mostly just debate. Got 2nd at tournament of champions (one of the most prestigious in the nation) and considered one of the top in the country, etc</p>

• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Debate Team (PF (my event) director), Intramural Dodgeball and Ultimate Frisbee, Young Republicans sophmore year, Young Dems senior year
• Job/Work Experience: Research Internship (9 weeks)
• Volunteer/Community service: 100+ helping elderly nearly disabled neighbor, a dozen from helping kids with serious illnesses
• Summer Activities: Duke TIP, Debate Camp
• Teacher Recommendation: the two best at my school
• Counselor Rec: counselor thinks I am one of the smartest at the school, talk with her often</p>

• Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Debate (might get me recruited actually), legacy to Dartmouth</p>

<p>You will not get recruited for PF. Policy only, and the pull is not nearly as strong as that of a recruited athlete. Plus TOC is a ***** tournament for PF. Few of the top teams go since it’s during AP season. CFLs is a joke too. NFLs or ■■■■.</p>

<p>You really need to improve your SAT score. Apply early to leverage your legacy.</p>
