Chances..

I am currently a high school junior. I have around a 3.75 gpa weighted, 3.6 unweighted and have taken a good amount of AP and honors classes. I have also played basketball, volleyball and track. Also a good amount of volunteer work and plenty of extra circulars including a job and internship with a local newspaper and I am going abroad for community service this summer. I have a fairly low act score with a composite of 23. I'm hoping that my gpa, course rigor and extra circulars will be strong enough.

I am an out of state student and plan on re-taking the act, but with my resume now, what are my chances??

Also in NHS and National Honors Society of High School Scholars along with others. Have a couple of leadership positions in extra circulars.

Let me know what you think.

honestly little to no chance. UT Austin is all about in state and rank unless you have a 2100+ SAT out of state.

Out of state + 23 ACT = no chance

… out of state + 33 ACT = chance
