Dad taught at Brown, but it was several years ago and will probably not help me at all.

Thanks!

anyone????

Brown rejects 67% of valedictorians, 75% of those with a 800M, 75% of those with a 800V, and, I suppose, about 60% of legacies.

This means that you will be rejected 277% of the time.

;)

beprepn

OMG, don't listen to beprepn...lol. I think you have a very good chance!

The only weakness I see is the ECs. Your involvement seems to be concentrated in your junior and senior years, which is something colleges do not like to see.

Thanks. But mainly it is just my leadership positions that are concentrated in the last couple of years. I have been a member of most of these clubs for longer than that (does that help?). I didn't write how long I've just been a member...

only second on the National German Exam?

save yourself some money and go buy a Cornell sweatshirt.

you're definitely qualified and you definitely deserve to get in.

of course that doesn't really mean much when it comes to ivy league college admissions.

good luck!

I was actually first among non-native speakers, if that means anything... First place went to a German girl, which I thought was sort of unfair. But I'm not complaining about being 2nd!

You ain't gonna go to Brown even if you get accepted. Right?
