Hello

I wanted to see if I have a chances for some of the high tier schools even with my exceptionally low SAT?

My SAT is 550(R) 770(M) 670(W), superscore. my 2nd (and best) try would be the same stats with just the math at 730

Yes I know this is a terrible. But my other stats are uh.. decent?

GPA 3.71 (UW) 4.5 (W)

SAT II Math II (770) World History (770)

EC: Decent but not outstanding. Math Honors Society, National Honors Society, 200+ Voluntary hours, few key clubs etc.

Basically, just to show that I participated in the community and didn't just 'study at home 24/7'

I am not sure how important AP's are. I wish they did take a lot of part in consideration, although I don't think they actually do.

AP Gov - 5
Calc AB - 5
Macroecon - 5
World History - 4
English Lang - 4
Physics - 3

taking:
Calc BC, Psych, Euro, microecon, stats

I am not sure if this could be a valid reason for my low reading score on the SAT,

but I am a completely bilingual student (with a legitimate test score to prove my proficiency) that came from another country.

Will my achievements in the English AP test and skills in a second language (english not my native language) somehow cover my low end of the Reading and probably the writing portion?

I AM going to take the October SAT and hopefully raise my Reading and some Writing, but I don't think it will be up by that much.

Some colleges I am thinking of (they are of different 'tiers'.)

UPenn

Georgetown

U Michigan

UVA

Do you think I have any chances?

Or is my SAT just too low and is it going to completely knock out my chances of getting in.

Again, I am retaking it. If I am, what do you think I should try to aim to get in order to get into at least UVA or Michigan.

Thanks for reading.!
