chances

I visited the McGill campus this summer and I fell in love...it is my top choice. My stats aren't so great however, but I do have unusual circumstances...

ACT: 31 composite
GPA: 2.6
U.S. student
1 AP sophomore year, 1 IB junior year, 1 IB and 2 AP's senior year

I missed 4 months of school my sophomore year due to health problems and this is why my GPA is so low. My freshman year GPA before I got sick was 3.6, do you think they would look at this?
Thank you so much

Your 12th year grades are very important. If 11 and 12 grades are significantly better than 9 and 10, you might have a shot. They really are not sympathetic about extenuating circumstances, unfortunately.

But when I filled out the graduate application (2 years ago; may have changed since then) there was a checkbox for medical issues; it was on a section that was common to both undergraduate and graduate apps.
