I am currently a high school junior, white male, and from the south. My high school is public and ranked as one of the best in the state, it’s normal for kids to graduate with like 10 APs, and so many kids graduate with straight As and double digit APs that we don’t name a valedictorian. Every class I’ve taken in high school has been an honors or AP course.
I am heavily humanities inclined, and expect to do very well in terms of my essays. I don’t know if intended major factors into acceptance, but I would likely apply for philosophy or political science. I have never taken a non-honors or standard class while in high school.
Weighted GPA is 4.2 as of sophomore year, which will obviously go up after this year. I got a few Bs my first two years of high school (chem, bio, Spanish 3/4)
