<p>From 7th-9th grade I lived over seas in London, England (dad's job transfer) and I was told this will increase my chances due to exposure of different cultures (wrote about in essays)</p>

<p>Well, I really do wish you the best of luck. But I would have to say that your numbers are just a bit on the low side for UTAustin. I would not consider UTAustin to be a safety school for you. Then again why not go for it, you'll never know unless you try. Their mid range SAT scores are 1110-1350 according to the resource I have. So you fall within that range. But your class rank seems a little low. </p>

<p>I think people with your stats have probably gotten in before. But definitely have some backups in mind in case UT doesn't accept you. Or take advantage of the easier admissions to other schools in the UT system and then try transferring. You'll never know unless you try. Good luck. ( Write outstanding essays.)</p>

<p>I think that being in a Texas high school helps. So go for it, just be sure to have a back up for just in case, okay?</p>
