chances?

Hi all, I have applied to a few colleges and while waiting for the results to come in, I have been quite anxious and excited about this whole process. I know that posting and asking for chances prob will not help in any way but the curious side of me, who at the same time happens to be a frequent visitor of this forum, just want to hear my 'chances' from ppl out there. Thanks in advance:).

Here are my stats:

Singaporean
SAT I: 2100 [770 maths, 670 writing, 660 reading]
SAT II: 800 maths, 780 chemistry 780 physics

ECs
National Schools Champion [table tennis; team]
National Schools Runner-up [cross country; team]
Was also part of the National Youth Team [table tennis]

Econs society 11,12
Chinese Drama Society 11

JOBS

National Umpire [table tennis]

Teachers Recommendation
I have no idea, should be decent.

Essays
Not a very good writer, but I tried my best to be as true as possible.

uh, grades? GPA? And a sense of how that compares to the rest of your class? And a sense of how rigorous your curriculum was?

I'd also like to hear more about your essay and why-columbia blurb. what was the subject matter, and what was your "point"?

It's hard to say without more info.

alright, in singapore there's no GPA, I only took the A Levels and got A A B B, which honestly is not very good. For the essay, I basically wrote about my affair with table tennis - from how I started playing to experiences and finally to how I contribute back. Do let me know if you guys need additional information. and thanks a lot again.

anyone....?

which subjects did you do at A-level, I do the same system, and AABB in Further Math, Eng Lit, Chemistry and Physics for example is very different from AABB in General Studies, Leisure studies, Textiles and Critical thinking? Also are you applying Post-Alevel? Or are those your predicted grades?

i did Econs, Physics, Chem And Maths. I am applying Post A Levels. so any opinion? haha.

Ok that's nice, those are tough A-levels. AABB is pretty good considering the difficulty, especially of the last 3. You'd have a shot at most top UK unis with those, and I expect that US shouldn't be far off.
