chances?

<p>White male Junior at a VERY competitive public school in NY. </p>

<p>Academics:
All honors classes all 4 years of HS
2 foreign languages 3 years each
2 ap's junior year, 4 ap's senior year
gpa 3.85 (school doesn't weight gpa)
no class rank at my school
SAT's, 650 verbal, 680 math, 680 writing, 2,010 total
SAT II's- world history 590, bio 610 (didnt study either, taking math 2 and us history this year-studying my butt off, very strong in us history)</p>

<p>EC's
playing cello for 9 years, been in all county select orchestra 4 years
trombone 7 years, honors band 4 years hs
track/xc 4 years hs, national hs running site called our council most competitive in the nation for xc (intense)
class VP for 4 years
natural helper 4 years (students nominate who they would go to for help with their problems, and we get trained by the counseling center. sort of like counselors among the students.)
summer job working for tech department at school, fixing computer problems/helping out, 25 hours a week
20 hours volunteer work at hospital
20 hours volunteer work for a track camp for children</p>

<p>assuming i have good essays and great recs (most definitely will have great recs, good student/personality, teachers love me, not to sound cocky...)</p>

<p>GPA and ECs are pretty decent, but your SATs seem pretty low, especially your SAT II's</p>

<p>Also, you have to tell us what college + major you are applying to.</p>

<p>economics major and premed courses, so ILR?</p>

<p>actually.... you would apply to CAS for an econ major/premed not ILR.</p>

<p>ILR would be a good choice for pre-law students</p>
