chances??

please anyone... tell me my chances of getting into UW!!!??

(my high school is ranked the 37th out of 27000 best public school)
Male
Greek Jew
Junior
3.55 uw
few APs
SAT 1700 out of 2400
ACT 26
ECs as follows...
Class Senator
ASB Treasurer
100 hours of community service
President of a Club
Member of 2 clubs
4 yrs of varsity tennis
member of ASPEN (had to tryout)(teens against drugs/unprotected sex)
in state

well..... i say 50/50.

i got into UW and UW Honors with:

ACT: 30
GPA: 3.9083
10 AP
Running start since junior year
A bunch of over 700 score SAT 2's
A bunch of AP exams.... 4 and above scores only
Like 200 hours of community service
officer of like 5 clubs
founder of 1 club
president of one of those clubs
National youth forum of medicine attendance
blah blah blah blah

My guess is 80%. Decent all the way around, they admit many many poorer applicants.

i made up those SAT and ACT numbers because that is what i am projecting but do you think if i got maybe like an 1800 and a 28ish on ACT i would be a lock.... also possibly get some more community service and taking 4 APs next year????

by the way just wondering and hoping???

does UW take into consideration or any school for that matter that i attend a top 40 public school in the nation???

i think UW will take the fact that it is nationally recognized into consideration, especially if lots of students from your school get accepted there each year

0% chance. sorry =*(

jznchang, why would you say 0%? Was it a joke or do you seriously think he has no shot at getting in. If its the latter, i disagree. I think he has a solid shot a getting and should make sure to keep his grades up and study for the SAT/ACT.

haha thanks basketball926. And jznchang is my friend from school and that was just one of his lame jokes.

Congratulations on UW Honors! I wish I had known about their early admissions program into Honors while I was a sophomore in high school.
