wow! is this like your 234987234098th chances thread?

nope wrong figure i have 1 less :D I just wanted to know from Yale guys

I'm not aware of how the system in India works, and I'm not trying to be mean, but...

If you still have at least a few months to go (which you clearly seem to), you should be buckling down and studying. Pursue your ECs, get better grades and do everything else related to college apps (like research). Stop posting your chance threads, because you won't get any real feedback.

Please, do yourself a favor and get off CC for the time being. You definitely have better things to do than plague CC with posts. You won't go the wrong way if you do that; I'm sure you'd improve your chances at Yale drastically.

mei_er yeah I was going to move off CC for a few months....

bump....bump

Ajayc: you seem pretty insistent on getting a reply from a "Yale" guy. I'm an alum and a recruiter. There's nothing in your information that would say your are more or less likely to get in the highly competitive applicant pool in my opinion. You're in the game for sure but your constant insecurity about your standing is somewhat grating. Why don't you focus your time on WHETHER or not Yale is a place you'd like to attend? Or other schools that would meet your needs? The prestige of Yale isn't the whole world, IMHO.

You're a sophmore or junior in high school right now. Enjoy the experience. There is value in what you are learning now for its own sake. It is not just a stepping stone to get to a prestigious university. Relax and learn to enjoy what and why you are studying.

k...i get it. :)
