do I have a chance at Knox?

Thanks

I think you have a reasonable chance, although the classes are getting more competitive each year. I had a similar background when i applied 5 years ago, and I graduated last year. If you're worried, call one of the admission counselors, and they'll be very straight up with their opinion. Nowadays, Knox doesn't require ACT or SAT scores any more, so if they bother you, don't submit them (I never took the SAT, so I don't know what those scores mean)

from Fastweb: "Applicants to Knox must demonstrate the ability to do successful college-level work and to make a positive contribution to the campus community. The fundamental requirement is successful completion of a challenging college-preparatory program. Of the first-year students in 2003, 29 percent were in the top tenth of their high school class and 67 percent were in the top quarter. The middle 50 percent of students scored between 540 and 660 on the mathematics portion of the SAT I and between 550 and 690 on the verbal; on the ACT composite, the mid-50 percent range was 24 to 30."

thanks for the response :D
