Excellent Recommendations
Good Essay (I think?)

Your SAT I/ACT/PSAT test scores seem better than your AP/SAT II scores and both seem better than your grades. Was there a pattern? Were freshman grades lower with a rising trend? Are your grades in line with what would be expected at your school for someone with your test scores? Your guidance counselor can help you determine this.

My grades are low for my test scores at my school, no pattern really. What are my chances for Emory?

Low GPA...Not sure of your passion/interests.....Possible music?? Low reach IMO

Great shot at being admitted to Emory depending upon, of course, your essays and recommendations. Elite schools, such as Emory, tend to be concerned with admissions yield which gives you an advantage as Emory is not likely to lose you to an Ivy League school ( even though you are clearly smart enough for the Ivies). Geography, being from Minnesota, may also give you a slight advantage at Emory.

How much difference does RD vs. ED make ?

ED will help chances

Is Emory scholars out of the question for me? Just wondering if I should even fill out the application.

You have to be nominated by your school for Emory Scholar by Nov 1; your stats look fine, but low GPA for regular, probably even lower for scholar.
