White female, in the IB program.
GPA: 3.75 Unweighted (much higher weighted, I'm pretty sure, but my school doesn't tell us our weighted GPA for some reason)
SAT: CR=740, M=680, W=790
-will take it for the second time in January
ACT: 34, haven't gotten writing scored yet.
PSAT: 235
AP: 4 on English Language, 5 on European History, I'll be taking a whole lot more.
EC: Active in Mu Alpha Theta, French Club, Art Club. In two community orchestras and joining the county's youth orchestra this semester. (I play violin and double bass.) I started a charity with two of my friends in which we teach violin at a local elementary school.
Honors/Awards: honor roll since the sixth grade, Director's Award (given to the top member of full orchestra), Art Honors Society. Given my PSAT score, I'm expecting to be a National Merit Qualifier, at least.
I'd like to major in architecture or civil engineering. The schools I am considering so far are UVa, UPenn, Lehigh, Cornell, Berkeley, Clemson and Auburn. What are my chances at these schools, and are there others I should look at?

anyone?

messages have to be a certain length, apparently. That's weird.

Looking good for Clemson, Auburn, Lehigh and maybe Cornell. Unsure on the others. Two other schools to consider would be University of Illinois and Tulane. Good luck!

good chances except at upenn and cornell.

Thanks for the advice!

What state are you in? I'm assuming OOS for Berkeley, so it's probably a reach. Your scores are excellent, and your ECs are okay. The major(s) you're applying for is very competitive, though.

I'm from Florida. I would apply to UF, but I've lived in Gainesville my entire life and really just want to leave. And yea, the majors I want are going to make everything more difficult, at least according to what I've read/heard.

Anyone else have comments/suggestions?

I hate bumping, but I really would like some other opinions, especially as far as other schools to look at go.

UPenn-reach
Lehigh-in
Cornell-high match/low reach
Berkeley-likely reject
Clemson-in
Auburn-in

Look at RPI and the University of Michigan if you wanna do engineering. Being a female should help you thoguh

Thanks for the help!

well I was accepted to UPenn early decision, with Lehigh as my 2nd choice. Do you have a rank or an approximate percentage as to where you stand in your class? Your extra curriculars are better than mine and your SAT score is only 20 points lower than mine. If you have a strong standing in your class and your courseload is deemed competitive, I think you have a shot at Penn too, and definitely Lehigh (I don't know much about the other schools)

I'm roughly 40 in a class of 450. 120-ish of those students (including me) are in a highly competitive program, with the average senior taking about 10 APs, and
enough IB tests to recieve the diploma.

Anybody else?

bump again

Suggestions/Comments greatly appreciated!

More feedback, anyone?

Alright, ACT writing is scored, and I recieved a 31, and an eight on the essay (I have no idea what happened, I do well on essays normally.)

Does anyone else have school suggestions?
