My grandpa, who raised me when I was little, died my soph year and caused my grades to deteriorate (2 Cs)

you should get in, but there aren't any guarantees. Just feel lucky you weren't applying this year, it was crazy.

very crazy =O...

Hmmm you have very strong SAT I/II scores which will help you. I got in with muuuuuch lower SAT scores but a 3.9 UC GPA (3.6UW), so I think you're a match.

in all honesty, Davis should be your safety imo...but like the above posters stated, Davis and many other UCs this year have become very unpredictable.

90% chance your in. Based on the stats, I think your pretty much in...but then again, I have to agree with everyone else on the fact that admissions are getting more and more random. Try to write a decent essay, not only for UCD but for every UC. I think you have a good chance for UCSD too, and maybe even UCLA. I know lower stats that got in this year to UCLA and UCB and UCSD O_O so good luck!

Agreed. I see absolutely no reason as to why they would deny you. Very strong application.

Nothing is ever forsure. I got into Cal and every other UC I applied to. I had wayyyyy lower stats then you; even GPA. But then again, i know tons of people who had much better stats then me get denied.

I wouldn't count Davis as a safety, but I do think you have good odds.

I don't know what to think about admissions anymore after this year.
