Thanks a lot.

What was your writing score for SATI? NU looks at all three...

Your writing score definately helps and while on the lower half, your composite score is still in NU's SAT range. Your SAT II's are solid, I think they only look at your top three, which are all 700+. Overall, I'd say you're a competitive applicant. Just make sure your essay and statement are solid. If you don't get in for some reason, it'll be simply because the applicant pool was highly selective, not because you're not qualified.

Oh, and it's National Honor Society, there's no S after Honor. :)

nice.

Thanks a lot for the input. I really appreciate it.

Haha. I never really thought about that for the NHS thing. Thanks for reminding me though. I won't screw up on my applications now.

No problem, I'm an ED applicant, so I'm killing time haha... And I'm glad to help.

Do you know which school you're applying to?

And as for your worry that there are too many people like you, use the essay and the statement to seperate yourself from the pack. Academically, it's easy to put applicants in alike groups based on numbers (SATs/GPAs). Use the essay to focus on something not on your transcript, to give your application a personality that's memorable.

At least, that's what I've been told lol. I have the same worry, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm hoping my essay is a tipping point for me...
