I am also Indian, and go to a very competivitve high school in new jersey. Do you think I have a shot at these schools, and if not which schools do you recommend.

bump…

Reason for GPA?

wait, being in the inner-city is an EC? :P

reason for the gpa is i kinda screwed around the first 2 years, and im doin pretty bad my junior. its not for a lack of talent, i dont want to sound conceited but im pretty smart, i just dont really try im super lazy.

and no wat i meant was i volunteered in the inner-city with underpriveliged youths

wait, being in the inner-city is an EC? :stuck_out_tongue: ---- haha

i think u need higher gpa for northeastern

how high do u think i wud need to raise it? is it realistic to raise your GPA from 2.8 to say a 3.2 in just a semester?

not in at majority of schools on list.

Retake the SAT, take some SATIIs. Bring that GPA up to a 3.1 or 3.2 and you should have a chance at 3, maybe 4 colleges on the list.

is a 2.8 like a 83 out of 100? idk probably in at a few

so even if i raise my SAT score and Gpa getting into a majority of those schools is a pipe dream?

no definately not

if you don’t get into the school u want…u can always try a community college and then transfer over… You just gotta work hard in CC
