So, i've come to accept the fact that my GPA is below par (@ around 3.65 - 3.70). However, I still have my senior year in high school and i'm sure i'll make a 4.0 year round (which will raise it up to about 3.74 - 3.8, if i'm lucky).

Also, I just got an 1,820 (Composite) on my SAT, I was around 85%...However, I signed up for classes w/ Kaplan earlier in the year and hopefully I can raise myself up to the 2100-2200 Range (it's a strech, but it's what I'm hoping for).

Other then that, my credentials are somewhat weak. I haven't done anything worth much merit (at least not to these elitist schools). I've carried a 30hr a week job since I turned 16, I have around 100 Community service hours, I've played Soccer all 4 years of high school, I have all the quintessential "EC's". I go to a rigorous Private Catholic school (and yes, they've sent at least 2 per year to NU).

Here comes the bad part. Since my school is so darn competitive (the #3-4 school in the state...for academics), I fall in the 40/169 :...I really screwed up my freshmen year (I got mostly B's).

Review:

Classes/GPA:

40/169 (This is a prediction for next year) Currently i'm 50/169.

(3.65-3.8)

AP - 6 AP Classes (Maybe 7 By the time I graduate)
Honors - All of my other classes are honors. (Where AP is not available)
4 Years of language (2 Years Latin, 2 Years French)
My courses are different from everyone else in my class. I doubled up on science to excel beyond my classmates...if that matters.

EC's:

Soccer, NHS, Class Vice-Prez (and Homeroom rep :P), 100 hrs of Community service work, all while holding a 30hr/wk job.

My College Choices are: Northwestern, NYU, Boston Unitversity, Cornell, Baylor, Oklahoma University (Possible Scholarship?), Durham U (In the UK), York U (In Canada), U of Toronto (Also in Canada)...I'm open to suggestions and ADVICE...

Thanks in Advance.
