<p>Applying RD. Vietnamese female from Boston MA</p>

<p>Academics:</p>

<p>GPA (end of junior year): 7.97 W (out of 9) but expecting to raise it to an 8.15 by the end of first term this year. avg. gpa accepted from my school is a 7.97</p>

<p>SAT: 1930 (680 M, 600 CR, 650 W); took it again in October, hoping to get 2000+ (reasonable since I took a prep course)</p>

<p>SAT II: 720 US History, 720 Math I</p>

<p>APs: US History, Chem, Calc, Euro
Honors: Honors Math (9th, 10th, 11th), Honors English (10th, 11th)</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance but NYU is like the elite universities with top students as in apply you never know what they are looking for and difficult to give a yes or no answer to any student ( top students when speaking of the elite schools).</p>

<p>yeah that is true. does the fact that i’m undecided for a major hurt my chances of getting in? i know nyu is a really good arts school and many students in the theatre dept. at my school are applying under an arts major.</p>
