Chances?

With EA decisons right around the corner I am paranoid that I won't get in. I am just looking for honest opinions about my chances.

I've bought, cared for and trained my own horse (ex-racehorse) from the ground up with no financial help from my parents. I am very committed to her and that is where the majority of my time is spent out side of school when I'm not working.

I have run a small business for 5 years breeding, selling, and showing poultry. I also sell eating eggs and live fertile show quality poultry eggs.

I think you have a good chance to get in. Did you get the email from NC State today too?

No, what did yours say?

Yea I would also like to know what that email said?

I think you’re in. All the email said was application status can be checked through wolfpaw and that decision letters will also be posted there (so for first deadline folks that’s next Tuesday).

Yep, I’ll know next week one way or another.

Do you think it would hurt me that my 1st choice is Biochem and my 2nd choice is English, since they are so different?

I found a couple of spelling errors in my app, do you think they will fault me for that?

I don’t think that choice of majors will hurt you at all.

A few spelling errors are fine - mistakes happen. It won’t hurt you unless they are widespread - in which case the admissions committee will see it as an indication of carelessness.

I got the email too! The few errors are all in the same short-answer paragraph, apparently I forgot to proofread that one.
