<p>I am an African-American female at an urban public highschool (in the gifted magnet) in Los Angeles but I am from an upper middle class family. My stats are:</p>

-mostly A's with the exception of two B's (in SPanish freshman year and an indepedent study life skills class)

<p>I'm pretty sure I can get in but what are my chances of getting a scholarship?</p>

<p>I'm the parent of a third year CTV student at USC, and have been following USC threads on CC since 2002. GPAs and especially SATs have been rising dramatically over the last three years, but you look like an outstanding candidate. Consider applying for some merit money. Remember though they have an early deadline, usually around December 10th, for scholarship applications. </p>

<p>USC loves to be loved so make sure that they know of your interest.</p>
